What the workshop offers

Bench-only work

All work is carried out by hand at a single bench in Ipoh. No pieces are outsourced to third parties without your knowledge.

Documented process

Each service is recorded in writing. You receive a description of what was found, what was replaced, and how the movement performed after regulation.

Plain communication

We describe findings clearly, without pressure. If a piece needs more work than anticipated, this is discussed before anything proceeds.

Honest timelines

Duration estimates are given at drop-off and updated if circumstances change. We do not rush work to meet arbitrary targets.

Estate handling

Pieces from family collections or long storage are handled with extra consideration. Condition reports describe what is present without recommending action.

Workshop visits welcome

Appointments can be arranged for drop-off and collection in person at our Ipoh address. You are welcome to discuss the work before leaving any piece with us.

Common Questions

Do you service all watch brands?
We work primarily with mechanical movements. Quartz pieces are outside our scope. For chronograph work, the availability of parts for less common calibres is discussed openly before you leave the watch with us.
How long does a chronograph service take?
The typical range for a chronograph mechanism service is 5 to 8 weeks. This accounts for careful disassembly, parts sourcing where required, regulation, and a 72-hour functional check. We will give you an updated estimate at drop-off.
What is included in the estate documentation report?
The report covers identification of calibre and case reference where possible, high-magnification photography, assessment of dial, hands, crown, and bracelet originality, a rate measurement, and notes on what care would bring the piece to running order. The report makes no valuation claim and recommends no particular course of action.
Can I visit the workshop in person?
Yes. Drop-off and collection appointments can be arranged at our address at 41 Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, Ipoh. Please contact us before arriving so we can set aside time to discuss the work properly.
What straps are available for fitting?
We stock leather, rubber, and textile options across common lug widths. If you have a specific strap in mind, you are welcome to bring it and we will assess whether it is suited to your case. Spring bars are replaced as standard with correctly rated stock.
What happens if additional work is found during the service?
If findings during disassembly change the scope or cost of the work, we contact you before proceeding. No additional work is carried out without your agreement.
Is pricing fixed or does it vary?
Prices listed are starting points for typical work within each service category. Where a piece requires unusual parts or extended effort, this is discussed before any commitment is made on either side.
